We had three competitions on this weekend at the opposite end of the age spectrum.

All Ireland 9/13s
Saturday we were in Tullamore for the All Ireland 9/13s. We had just two competing with Anna Paxman first out and finished 6th in her U12 High Jump. In the afternoon Ruairí Walshe was 10th in his U12 600m final. Both will gave gained great experience for the future.

Munster juvenile B's
In Ennis we had the Munster juvenile B's and

Eleanor Boland 2nd U11 shot and her sister Niamh was 2nd in the U13 high jump. Mairéad O'Brien also ran brilliantly to finish 3rd in the U12 80m.

Senior league
While in Santry our senior men were doing their best to qualify for the national league final in three weeks. Without the official results from Dublin it looks like we may just have done enough but all will be confirmed during the week.

What is confirmed is our returning international Paul White won the 400m. Robbie Bennett won the 200m and finished 3rd in the 100m. Mark Tierney was 2nd in the Discus & 4th in Pole Vault. Seán Carolan's over 13m PB was good for 2nd in the Shot and was also 3rd in the Javelin.
Darragh Miniter ran strongly for 3rd in the 110m Hurdles.

Young Ted Collins was 4th in a classy 800m race.  Brian Naughton finished 5th in the Hammer.
Josh Egan 3rd in Triple jump & 5th in 400m hurdles.  Aaron Quigley was 6th in the 5000m.
Anthony Carolan was 5th in the 56lb for distance.   We were also 3rd in both the 4x100m & 4x400m relays.

Tipperary also had a senior women's team competing in the league and we had three
representatives on the team. 15yr old Ailbhe O'Neill beat all the seniors to win the 800m.
Sarah Lane was 5th in the 1500m despite being a little under the weather.
Margaret Mary Grace combined with Ailbhe O'Neill, Emer Lynch (Newport) and Rose Anne Fitzgerald (Carraig on Suir) to comprehensively win the 4x400m.

The next two weekends we have the U14/19 All Ireland's in Tullamore.
