Parking and Traffic Management
- Visitors are asked to:
1) Observe any parking restrictions in place
2) Co-operate with any marshals on duty
3) Not to block entrances to private residences
4) Help maintain free flowing traffic in the area around the complex - Buses are not allowed to park in the complex car parking area.
At weekends buses can avail of free parking at Nenagh Train Station public car-park which is a five minute walk from our facilities.
It is advisable to set-down athletes first outside the entrance to the complex. - The Ambulance area must be kept clear.
AMBULANCES MUST HAVE A CLEAR EXIT ROUTE FROM THE CAR PARK AT ALL TIMES - Vehicles are parked in the NOAC car park at the owner’s risk.
- Once NOAC Car Park is full, cars may park in the nearby Church Car Park (beside the Hospital) or in the Railway Station car park .
Church grounds car park can be used all day Saturday and after 12 midday on Sundays - Check for traffic problems at AA Roadwatch

Approaching Nenagh on M7 westbound (from Dublin direction)
- Leave the M7 via Exit 25
- On the first roundabout encountered take the second exit, signposted Nenagh/R498
- The M7 overpass is straight ahead. Immediatley after driving through the overpass is a second roundabout. Take the first exit signposted Nenagh/R498 off this roundabout, i.e., go "straight through" the roundabout.
- Proceed for approx 3km then turn left up Ballygraigue Rd.
This is a sharp turn. At the turn, the footpath to the drivers left has safety railings and the house facing the driver as the turn is negotiated has orange/red roof tiles.
Note: you will know you have missed the turn if you meet a set of traffic lights, as the traffic lights are just after the left turn
You are now approx 200m from the entrance to the Nenagh Olympic Sports Complex.
The entrance to the track is set slightly back off the road.
Turn right immediatley after the wide entrance to Ballygraigue Estate
Please do not use Ballygraigue Estate for parking.
Approaching Nenagh on M7 eastbound (from Limerick direction)
- Leave the M7 via Exit 25
- On the first roundabout encountered take the first exit, signposted Nenagh / R498.
- Proceed for approx 3km then turn left up Ballygraigue Rd.

Approaching Nenagh from Limerick on the R445 (Previously known as N7)
To avoid entering Nenagh town, the directions below direct the driver onto the M7 heading for Dublin and then gives direction to our complex via M7 exit 25.
As drivers near the outskirts of nenagh they will ascend a hill to meet a roundabout
You are now approx 200m from the entrance to the Nenagh Olympic Sports Complex.
The entrance to the track is set slightly back off the road.
Turn right immediatley after the wide entrance to Ballygraigue Estate
Please do not use Ballygraigue Estate for parking.

- Continue to the Tullaheady roundabout, take the fourth exit off this roundabout
- Immediatley after taking the fourth exit, keep left, bringing you onto the M7 (Dublin)
- Leave the M7 via Exit 25
- On the first roundabout encountered take the first exit, signposted Nenagh / R498
- Proceed for approx 3km then turn left up Ballygraigue Rd.

Approaching Nenagh from Galway/Portumna/Borrisokane Direction on the N52 Eastbound
Entering the town drivers will meet the Borrisokane Rd. roundabout.
You are now approx 200m from the entrance to the Nenagh Olympic Sports Complex.
The entrance to the track is set slightly back off the road.
Turn right immediatley after the wide entrance to Ballygraigue Estate
Please do not use Ballygraigue Estate for parking.
- Take the first exit off the Borrisokane Rd. Roundabout, leading into Nenagh on the R497.
- Continue downhill on this road until you meet a smaller roundabout just after a Texaco filling station, take the first exit, leading up a slight hill.
- Continue straight on until you meet a third roundabout, (a "button" roundabout), take the second exit, i.e., go "straight through" the roundabout. You are now on Pearse St.
- Continue straight down Pearse St. until you meet a fourth roundabout, take the first exit, i.e., go "straight through" this roundabout also.
- Continue straight until you shortly come to a crossroads with a set of traffic lights, (On the top right of the crossroads is the Bank of Ireland), turn left at the traffic lights onto Kenyon St.
- Continue down Kenyon St. until you come to a fifth roundabaout at the base of a hill - take the third exit and continue up and over the hill, which passes over train tracks.
- Continue straight on until you meet a set of traffic lights, pass through these and and take the first right about 50m after the traffic lights. This brings you onto Ballygraigue Rd.
You are now approx 200m from the entrance to the Nenagh Olympic Sports Complex.

Approx 4km outside nenagh drivers will meet a roundabout
You are now approx 200m from the entrance to the Nenagh Olympic Sports Complex.
