The Munster Senior and Masters Indoor Championships were held in our Indoor Complex and we had success in all sections. The only controversy was that surrounding the silver medal won by Mary Moroney in the Shot and whether it was legitimate for her to take her throws before her opposition had even left home!!

Results of the day were as follows.

Senior:
Paul White..200m 3rd 23.60, 400m 2nd 52.46.
Michael Quilligan..400m 3rd 52.71.
Aoife Delargy..400m 3rd 60.65.
Margaret Mary Grace..800m 1st 2.30.14.
Tom Hennessy..800m 4th 2.01.72.
Aoife Tierney..Pole vault 5th 2.35m
Junior Womens Relay..Aoife Delargy, Amy White, Ciardha Maher and Aoife Deering 1st.
Senior Mens Relay..Michael Quilligan, Tom Hennessy, Liam Finn and Paul White 2nd.

Masters:
Peter Ryan M45..Shot 1st 10.54m, Weight for Distance 1st 7.00m
Anthony Carolan..Weight for Distance 2nd 6.05m
Michael Kelly M65..Shot 1st 10.20m, Weight for Distance 1st 6.34m.
Mary Moroney F40..Shot 2nd 5.72m.
Martin O Grady..High Jump 1st 1.55m.
