At the end of two days of action we had four Munster titles as well as silver and bronze medals. Outside of our medal winners, some of our other athletes produced some fine performances against very strong opposition and we congratulate them on their efforts. We now have five pairings and a relay team qualified for the All Irelands in Tullamore on Saturday 21/06/14. The Nenagh medal winners from the weekend are as follows. Filip McIntyre and Zak Egan won a team silver in the Turbo Javelin with some excellent throws and will go to the All Irelands with great confidence. Alex Reynolds and Ben Connolly also struck gold when both lads threw brilliantly in the Turbo Javelin, with Alex also picking up a silver individual medal. How the relay team were denied a medal still remains a mystery after controversial results from hand timed heats but the lads have years ahead of them to display their talents. Josh Egan won silver in the long jump with a best of 4,66m and will know that he can produce more when the All Irelands come around. ----------------------------------- Entries and timetable for this event can be viewed inline below (use the zoom and/or full page icons towards bottome right hand corneror of the documents if necessary), or by downloading the pdfs Note: the first two pages of the entry forms have no athletes names.
