Venue - Athlone Institute Technology Uploaded by Garrett Moylan, with thanks to PRO Ray Deering ---------------------------------------------------------- On Sunday at the Senior Indoor Championships in Athlone, Darren Dunne produced a superb performance in the 3000m final to get inside the qualifinig time for the European Youth Olympics, to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan on 30 May –1st June 2014. Needing to run faster than the qualifing standard of 8.45mins set , Darren ran 8.42.73 to be comfortably inside the time and now must wait to see if he's selected. Congratulations Darren!
