Thanks to our caretaker:
The club thanks Peter King for all of the work he did as club caretaker. During his term with us Peter was invaluable to the club in helping to keep the complex facilities at a consistently high standard. Peter took pride in keeping the place looking at its best for both routine training and events hosted in the complex. Once again our thanks to Peter and we hope to see you at the complex in the future.
Nenagh Olympic finished top of the pile when the points were added up for the juvenile cross country season. This is a great achievement for all of the athletes involved and great credit goes to them and their coaches. Well done all.

Congratulations to Emma Hennessy and Ciara Cummins who were chosen as recipients for Munster Star awards for 2013. Both athletes were chosen as the Tipperary winners of their sections for their performances throughout the 2013 season.
Emma Hennessy was given the Female Juvenile Indoor Track and Field award.
Ciara Cummins picked up the Juvenile Cross Country award.
Well done to both girls who now join an illustrious list of Nenagh Olympic athletes who have won these awards over the years and we hope that this trend will continue into the future. The Munster Star Awards Ceremony was held in the Tower Hotel, Waterford on Saturday 25th January 2014.
Both Emma's and Ciara's 2013 athletics achievements are listed in the pdf below.
2013 saw 12 Nenagh Olympic athletes selected for the Munster Performance Squad training sessions. They had their first session Saturday 30/11/13 in C.I.T. (Cork Institute of Technology) All of our athletes were selected based on their results throughout the year and it is a great opportunity for them to train with other athletes from around the province.
Well done to all of our athletes who ran in the 2014 Christmas morning run from the C.B.S. It was a beautiful morning and a great crowd turned up to work up an appetite for the day ahead.
Church Gate Collection:
The club would like to thank all those who gave their time to collect at the church masses the weekend before Christmas. The weather conditions were very poor for two days but our brave souls endured it with a smile on their faces. Many thanks to those who contributed to the collection.
