Competitions, Competition Entry and AAI Registration We do our best to announce competitions via the website/Facebook/Text etc, but it is not always possible to do so. The calendar of events can be found on the club website in the 'General Information' section and in the 'Competition...Next Up' section. We encourage you to use these links. When you use the Competition Entry form, that we have created on our club website, that request is added to a 'To-Do' list for the club's Registrar - Andy Hodgins. At this point you are not yet entered in the competition. Andy first needs to check that you have been registered with the AAI. This only needs to be done once a season for each athlete and is done before the first competition at the start of the season for competing athletes. If you have not yet been registered he must do so on the AAI Membership System. This can take up to 24 hours to process, during which time your Entry cannot be completed. This is one of the reasons we set an Entry Closing date that is earlier than the date you will see on the official AAI website etc. We also do this to make sure there is time to complete your entry. We are all volunteers with a lot of other stuff going on - if you come to us too late with an entry we simply may not be available to process it. Worst case scenario, but do keep it in mind! Once the above is done Andy takes that request and uses the AAI's Competition Entry System (called 'Entry for Sports' (E4S)) to process the Entry. Once this is done you are entered and your name will be on the start list. Payment
Checking / Confirming your Entry has been processed It is your responsibility to confirm your Entry has been completed and completed correctly. We do our best to announce competitions via the website/Facebook/Text etc, but it is not always possible to do so. When we do we will include a link to the Competition Entry 'start list' . Please use that link to confirm it. You can access the Entry system at any point yourself. You will not be able to use this to enter a competition but you can use the system to confirm your entry and / or view who is competing! There are two links - One for National Competitions and one for Regional Competitions (Munster or County Competitions.) Regional Link https://ireland.entry4sports.com/#/entry National Link https://athleticsireland.entry4sports.com/#/entry The following is a guide of how to use the above to confirm your entry. The following is a bit lengthy, but it actually only takes a minute to check! When you click on either of the the links above it will bring you into the 'Entry for Sports' (E4S) website. (You may see an error about a 'login' but you can ignore that as you do not need an account and do not need to login). The Yellow arrow above is pointing at the 'Competition' button. Click on that and you will be presented with a list of competitions. Following the Yellow Arrow above you can use that 'Filter' to Select the Hosting organisation i.e. Tipperary, Munster, etc. Once you find your competition click on the word 'Athletes' per the Yellow arrow above. This will then give you the start list for events in that competition. You can enter your name into the name field, 'Nenagh' into the club field or the event type into the 'TYPE' field. Per below. If there is a problem with the entry contact us.
